Standard disclaimer, my translations aren't always the best as I'm pretty meager at it, so some parts will be translated, and some may more be me summarizing jists of things as I probably had a tough time putting something into the right words. But also hey I'm basically mostly doing this for myself anyway.

The order these links are in are my own personal preference, from articles/blurbs I like the best/find more in-depth or interesting to ones that are shorter and more standard. So if you're looking that way, enjoy! Otherwise, all translations can be found below in the comments. :)

Super Gundam Royale (Mobile Game)

Dearka Elthman (SEED) 3 star
Mobile suit pilot in the ZAFT military. Belonging to the Creuset team, he participated in a mission to steal the "G" units, and became the exclusive pilot of the Buster Gundam. Cynical, he gets along with Yzak Jule, who shares his prejudice against Naturals and belligerent attitude.

Dearka Elthman (SEED) 4 star
Mobile suit pilot in the ZAFT military. Belonging to the Creuset team, he is the exclusive pilot of the Buster Gundam. The seized the Buster Gundam during the raid on Heliopolis and has been piloting it ever since. Full of vitality, he often teams up with Yzak in battle. He gets along with Yzak, who shares his prejudice against Naturals and belligerent attitude.

Dearka Elthman (Destiny) 3 star
Part of ZAFT's Jule Team. He was accused in a court martial held after the previous war, but later returned to ZAFT and joined the Jule Team, led by Yzak Jule. Yzak's trust in him is high.

Part of ZAFT's Jule Team. He was accused in a court martial held after the previous war, but later returned to ZAFT and joined the Jule Team, led by Yzak Jule. Three of them; Yzak Jule, Athrun Zala and Nicol Amarfi, who would later become close friends, were at the top of the class, and during their time at the academy, Dearka was unable to surpass them.

Coincidentally, on the same ship (Vesalius), Dearka and Yzak ended up sharing the same room too.

At that time, Yzak was considering Athrun as his rival. Due to this, Dearka would try to discourage Yzak who clashed with Athrun at every opportunity. The three of them did not like to work together, not just in their personal lives, but also during their operations.

After that, he went back to space and met Yzak again on the Mendel colony, where he tells him he will not return to ZAFT, but he would also not betray PLANT.

Dearka was on board the Voltaire as a member of the Jule Squadron, commanded by Yzak. He played a role in boosting the morale of the corps as an adjutant.

He was demoted from being a ZAFT red, but at Yzak's call, he returned to ZAFT as his deputy and returned to the battlefield.

Record: The Unbroken Bond With Yzak
Dearka, who had become a captive of the Archangel on the Marshall Islands, reunites with Yzak on the Mendel Colony. Dearka climbs out the cockpit of the Buster Gundam and calmly confronts Yzak, who could not hide his shock at the sight of him. Dearka tells him that he's working alongside Lacys Clyne and Andrew Waltfeld as an autonomous force, and that was was impossible for him to fight against the Archangel again now that he had interacted with the crew and others, even though he had been captured by them. Although Dearka parted ways with Yzak in that moment, he did not resent him, and was actually grateful that he had been so concerned about him. In fact, during the second battle of Jachin Due, the two of them defeated Crot Buer and his Raider Gundam, and even in the midst of a fierce war, his relationship with Yzak remained unchanged.

His aircraft was hit by an all-range attack by Rau Le Creuset operating the Providence, and was nearly destroyed. However, destruction was avoided due to Yzak's support.

Dearka was reunited with Yzak, but made it clear that he had no intention on returning to ZAFT. For him, the war had changed drastically from its original purpose.

With help from Yzak, Dearka managed to escape Buster's destruction and returned to the Archangel. He witnessed the end of the second battle of Jachin Due.

At the academy, he meets and interacts with Athrun Zala, Yzak Jule and Nicol Amarfi, others who also have PLANT Supreme Council members as parents. After graduation from the academy with excellent grades, he joins the Creuset Team with Yzak and Athrun. (way to not mention Nicol there, article)

He was a close friend with Yzak who belonged to the Creuset Team. Whenever Yzak was in a pinch, Dearka took the initiative to support him.

SEED-02-12 Yzak Jule
One of the MS pilots of ZAFT's Creuset Team. He and Dearka have been close friends since the academy days, and have had many opportunities to work together as part of the Creuset Team.

However, his naive speculations were dashed, and not only were they unable to capture the Archangel, but his best friend Yzak was seriously injured. Dearka finally realized the seriousness of the situation, but they were still unable to destroy the Archangel in space, and the battle then moved to Earth.

Dearka was particularly close to Yzak, who shared a similar background and personality, but he also had friendships with Athrun and Nicol, who had been his academy classmates.

In fact, when Nicol was killed in the battle near Orb, he, like Yzak and Athrun, was shocked by his death. Additionally, he mediated between Athrun and Yzak, who were at odds with one another over the responsibility for Nicol's death, and tried to keep the Zala Team, which was on the verge of falling apart after Nicol's death, together.

He could calm Yzak, who became heated easily, down. He also played a role as a mediator between Athrun and Yzak, who were not on good terms.

Yzak Jule
A close friend of Dearka who as a pilot, was relentless in his pursuit of the Archangel. Due to coming in second place as a pilot, this was a cause of conflict with Athrun, even during the Zala Team.

Voltaire's Captain
The man who is in charge of the Jule Team's flagship, led by Yzak Jule. He is a man of great ability who can tout that it was his logistical support that Yzak was able to fight on the front lines.

The Voltaire's captain on a mission to intercept the debris of Junius Seven as it falls to Earth. However, he never imagined that this incident would lead to a new war.

Shiho Hahnenfuss
A ZAFT mobile suit pilot who participated in the war of CE 71. She is trusted by Yzak due to her vast experience in battle, and is seen accompanying him to various places as one of his trusted soldiers.

She's not only a pilot, but a skilled team leader. She participated in strategy meetings with Yzak and the others, keeping a close watch on the situation.

D: Shiho is a woman who has earned the right to wear the red uniform. She is also trusted by her immediate superior (Yzak Jule).

During the war of CE 73, Shiho did not stand on the front lines, but rather assisted her superior, Yzak Jule. She seems to become distressed by the increasingly chaotic situation of the war.

Yzak/Dearka
Yzak and Dearka, who were Nicol's classmates at the academy school as well as colleagues on the Creuset Team/Zala Team, described Nicol as a "coward." Unlike with Athrun, he did not seem to have a very private relationship with the two of them, however they were affected by Nicol's death.

Dearka was a close friend of Yzak, who regarded Athrun as a rival. Due to this relationship, every blunder of Athrun's was criticized.

When Dearka heard about the plan, he was impressed by the strategy to exploit the enemy's defenses, but he let slip the above quote to Yzak. (the job for for a coward quote)

It meant turning against ZAFT, and in fact, he reunited with his best friend Yzak on the battlefield. Yzak is shocked to see that Dearka had joined with the independent forces, and urges him to return to ZAFT.

There are also uniform changes due to promotion and demotion. Rau and Yzak are examples of promotion from red to white, and Dearka is an example of demotion to green.

Rusty Mackenzie was a classmate and friend of Athrun and Yzak from their time at the military academy.

Along with Athrun, Yzak and others, [Rusty] was a promising new recruit for ZAFT.

When Klueze entrusted his team to Yzak, Shiho also joined the Second Battle of Jachin Due as a member of the Jule Team.

Dearka Elthman
In the war of CE71, he unexpectedly joined the Archangel, but after the war ended he returned to ZAFT. He was assigned to the Jule Team led by Yzak Jule, and wielded his skills as Yzak's right hand man. In CE73, he engaged in the breaking up of Junius Seven which began to fall to Earth, and when armed conflict between the Earth and ZAFT broke out again, he was assigned to the PLANT defense mission with Yzak. Toward the end of the war, they succeeded in destroying a beam deflecting station of the Earth Forces' weapon of mass destruction, Requiem. Gilbert Durandal, the Chairman of PLANT, announced the Destiny Plan and reused the Requiem, causing distrust. When Lacus Clyne, the Archangel and Orb forces fought against Durandal, he cooperated in destroying the WMDs just ahead of Yzak, who could not straightforwardly cooperate. They were hostile toward Durandal. His main aircraft are the Gunner ZAKU Warrior and the Blaze ZAKU Phantom.

Shiho Hahnenfuss
A female ZAFT pilot. She was skilled enough to be allowed to wear the "ZAFT red," the mark of the elite, and was a member of the Jule Team led by Yzak Jule in the war of CE71. She was also a member of the Jule Team in CE73. After the war, she was seen along with Yzak escorting Lacus Clyne back to PLANT at the invitation of the council, welcoming Kira Yamato and Athrun Zala.

A Zala faction member of PLANT's Supreme Council, and mother of ZAFT mobile suit pilot Yzak Jule. She possesses both the harshness of one who stands above others and the tenderness of a mother. During the Second Battle of Jachin Due, she took command of PLANT of behalf of Patrick Zala as he went to command the GENESIS.

Note: I appear to only have this one. These were little one page things in some magazine (I don't know which) and I think there was a whole series of them. 😭 I guess I missed Yzak's.

At first glance, he seems frivolous. But in reality he's an honest, dependable, nice guy.

Wearing a red ZAFT uniform which is a sign of the elite, Dearka and Yzak always acted at their own pace, but a major turning point for Dearka was when he was captured by the Archangel and met Miriallia. Her raw anger toward him made him rethink the war.

As a result, he was stripped of his red uniform again, but was allowed to join Yzak's team, and since them has acted as his adjutant. It would be impossible for an ordinary person to partner up with Yzak, who is strict and direct with his friends. It's possible for [Dearka] because he is, above all, a person of character who is able to devote himself to being a "behind the scenes" supporter, as well as being smart enough to make cool-headed judgments about situations.
