There's some array of drinks back on the station. I'm not sure what, but for the sake of what you've already tried and possibly have some taste for, hopefully some sort of whiskey.

[while Yzak's setting the cup down, Blue scoots in to settle at his side, which gives him a great view of that expression of his. it makes his eyes crinkle with some mirth, though his smile stays subdued.]
Just one, I said. [he gently bumps his nose against his cheek before kissing it.] One is enough, I think.
And who said I'll adhere to that! [ Not so much of a tough-guy declaration when he's flushing at the action. ]
I'm not really a drink connoisseur or anything, but I still know enough. I won't even need one I told you so! You'll be with me, so it'll be just fine!
[ He wouldn't dare allow Blue to turn into a sloppy drunk bitch. ]
I know. [he rests his temple against Yzak's, a chuckle in his breath.] I'm not worried a bit.
[why should he? Yzak's done nothing but look after him so well all this time; even without reading that mind next to him, Blue knows he can trust him.]
[ Yzak lets out one of those soft grumbles in his throat that is clearly fond.
And even if that nuance wasn't easily picked up on, the way he lets his own head rest against Blue's would make up for it.
The laugh in Blue's tone, the mirth in his expression, they allow Yzak to calm since it means he's feeling less rattled than he was just earlier from whatever plagued his dreams. ]

[ The slight edge of sarcasm disappears when he finishes saying that, putting that relieved feeling into words as best he can manage. ]

He looks down at their hands thoughtfully. Jeez, what a sappy thing to recall at a moment like this. He feels himself go redder, because even with Blue's psionics down and him unable to read the thought, which would have saved Yzak from the embarrassment, he still essentially causes it for himself anyway. ]
[Blue can't help but smile, but for Yzak's sake, he closes his eyes, feigning a bit of ignorance just to relish the moment. there's things to be said about this, about him, but it has to wait. wait until they're a bit safer, removed from the hazards of this planet.
all the same, he squeezes at Yzak's hand - a silent declaration of those things unsaid.]
[ He'll be more at ease, too, once they're out of here. If mainly for Blue's sake - it's as he said earlier, sure this place is affecting him as it is everyone, it kind of sucks! But for Blue to be so constantly in it when his psionics are working ... he can only imagine how much more of a weight it feels like. One that Yzak himself can only do so much for - if he's here and not underground working with the army in the first place.
He sends a side glance to Blue when he feels that squeeze to his hand. ]

It was nice. [the contented smile remains.] This...is nice. Despite the quiet. [he may not feel a hundred percent himself in such a state, but he does feel safe with Yzak on alert.]
I'll see if I can get some more, before we leave this place. Since the plants it was made from aren't anything I've ever heard of before! But it is pretty good.

And it's not so much the fact that what you can feel here is so strongly negative that it can cause you such turmoil even in your sleep, but rather that even being free of that temporarily ... is its own form of turmoil in itself. Is that right?
