Luckily there are plenty of ways to do that in your case, then. Not that I'm suggesting you tell everyone about this, that's your own prerogative. But, if we ever do end up in a situation where something could go wrong, you can also count on me, too, not to hesitate and chance it if you need a hand.

If I were in the same position, I'd be pissed off if someone hesitated and let me do something I'd regret when I was back to my senses. I'd want someone to kick my ass into incapacitation if the alternative was hurting anybody I cared about.
I would be understanding of hesitation, but not if they didn't follow through. I can agree with you on that one. Luckily I'm big enough to take a great deal of hits.
