When you feel like a monster, you think of drastic measures before all others. But you can rest assured that Andy dissuaded me from my notions. And I would never have put this on her shoulders without warning. She came across the memory of the spell being put on me and volunteered to aid me.
[ He supposes - despite everything - it's a blessing that the magic didn't make him more than human. ]
Yes; still human. The spell takes over and I lose consciousness. I fight until my body cannot continue so damaging it enough would cause the spell to release me.
Maybe so. Not to mention, you're here for what I assume is an important reason, aren't you? You can't accomplish it if you're dead, so you - so everyone here - should take every care they can to ensure that doesn't happen.
Luckily there are plenty of ways to do that in your case, then. Not that I'm suggesting you tell everyone about this, that's your own prerogative. But, if we ever do end up in a situation where something could go wrong, you can also count on me, too, not to hesitate and chance it if you need a hand.
[ And by hand he means bullet. Sure he's a Coordinator but Joric is also huge and he's by no means invincible if he gets a good raging suckerpunch. ]
You're welcome. Even though it just seems like a natural thing to do, to me.
If I were in the same position, I'd be pissed off if someone hesitated and let me do something I'd regret when I was back to my senses. I'd want someone to kick my ass into incapacitation if the alternative was hurting anybody I cared about.
I would be understanding of hesitation, but not if they didn't follow through. I can agree with you on that one. Luckily I'm big enough to take a great deal of hits.

[ Which - he's finding as he tells others - will not be fatal. ]
