Yzak Jule After the end of the war in CE71, Yzak was a member of the Provisional Council on PLANT, but resigned when the Junius Treaty was signed. Following that, he returned to ZAFT, believing in the ideology of PLANT's new Supreme Council Chairman, Gilbert Durandal, and was appointed as commander of the Jule Team (his subordinates were Dearka Elthman and Shiho Hahnenfuss, his comrades in arms from the previous war). During the fall of Junius Seven, he piloted the Slash ZAKU Phantom and alongside Dearka, overwhelmed Phantom Pain's three Gundams. After the war began again between PLANT and Earth and Lord Djibril escaped to the lunar base Daedalus, [Yzak] witnessed the firing of the inter-orbital omnidirectional strategic cannon, Requiem. The relay station was damaged and avoided a direct hit to Aprilius City, the capital of PLANT.
However, when Durandal seized control and used the Requiem which was supposed to have been destroyed, and revealed his "Destiny Plan," Yzak began to distrust Durandal. And when Lacus Clyne, the Archangel and the Orb Forces moved to destroy the Requiem, Yzak cooperated with them in order to destroy the relay station. Furthermore, when he learned that the ZAFT fortress Messiah was targeting Eternal with the Neo Genesis, he was first to inform them of the danger and saved the Eternal from destruction, thus helping to end the war. As Yzak was never good with expressing his emotions honestly, he was often misunderstood, but in his own way he was acting for the peace within the global sphere. His main aircraft are the Slash ZAKU Phantom and the GOUF Ignited.
